James C. Collins, Jr., Chief Executive Officer, Corteva Agriscience

Mr. Collins is the chief executive officer of Corteva. Prior to this appointment. Mr. Collins served as the chief operating officer for the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont Inc. since September 2017. Prior to this, Mr. Collins was Agriculture Segment leader for E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (“EID”) since January 2016. In December 2014, he was named executive vice president of EID and had responsibility for the electronics & communications, industrial biosciences, performance materials segments as well as regional management for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada and corporate communications. In September 2013, he assumed additional business and functional responsibilities as senior vice president. In January 2011, he was appointed vice president for acquisition & integration of Danisco, and was named president of DuPont Industrial Biosciences in May of that year. From 2004 to 2010, he was responsible for DuPont Crop Protection as vice president and general manager and then president. In 1993, he joined the agriculture sales & marketing group where he served in a variety of roles across the globe supporting EID’s seed and crop protection businesses. He held positions in engineering, supervision and plant management at a variety of manufacturing sites after joining EID in 1984 as an engineer. He currently serves on the board of directors for CropLife International and the U.S. China Business Council. He also serves on the University of Tennessee Loan Oaks Farm Advisory Council and the board of trustees of the Hagley Museum and Library.
